Therapy for Anxiety & Worry
We all experience anxiety and worry at times. But when worry starts to feel overwhelming or gets in the way of living the life you want, it can be helpful to have some support.
Anxiety can show up in many ways—overthinking, perfectionism, self-doubt, fear of making mistakes, avoiding things that feel uncomfortable, or worrying about what might happen next.
Sometimes anxiety can make it harder to make decisions, take chances, feel present in relationships, or move toward the things that matter to you.
When Anxiety Gets in the Way
Therapy isn’t about eliminating anxiety altogether. It’s about understanding what’s underneath it, recognizing the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and building the confidence to move through difficult feelings rather than organizing your life around avoiding them.
In our work together, we’ll make space for what you’re experiencing while helping you find new ways to respond to worry, uncertainty and self-doubt. The goal is to help you feel more confident in yourself and freer to make choices based on what matters to you.
How Therapy Can Help
Who I Work With
I work with older teens, university students, young adults and parents experiencing anxiety, worry, perfectionism, self-doubt or feeling overwhelmed.
Anxiety looks different for everyone. You might seem confident and capable on the outside while spending a lot of time overthinking, second-guessing yourself or worrying about getting things wrong. For parents, anxiety can also show up as worrying about your child, questioning how to respond, or feeling unsure whether you’re doing the right thing.
