      <image:title>Therapy with Nicole - About Me</image:title>
<image:caption>My name is Nicole Myles and I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) with a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto. For over 15 years, I have worked with children, teens, young adults and parents, helping them navigate difficult emotions and challenging behaviours. I have always been interested in what lies beneath the way we feel and behave. I believe that when we understand what is really going on underneath, meaningful change becomes possible. Parenting is also a big part of my work. I know how hard it can be to watch your child struggle and not know how to help. I also work with parents to better understand their child or teen and feel more confident supporting them. I support children, teens and young adults with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and relationship challenges, including anxiety, ADHD, depression, self-esteem, friendship difficulties and emotional regulation. I have specialized training in Emotion-Focused Therapy and am a supervisor in EFT for Families. I know that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially for kids and teens. Building a relationship where they feel heard, understood and able to be themselves is always my starting point.</image:caption>
